Now, more than ever, everyone is thinking about “doing their part” to help the environment. They are also thinking about how to save money.

The problem that is keeping people from using wind power is the cost. People think that it is just too costly to have a residential wind turbine.

There are a couple of methods with residential applications to beat the high cost of energy using renewable resources. One would be through the use of solar power panels and the other would be through the use of a wind turbine. For this article we will look at a wind turbine that you could build yourself, that would pay for itself many times over.

Some people would be surprised to find out that you could build your own residential wind turbine as a weekend project for less than $200.00. Many, many people have done it and are saving up to 80 percent on their energy bills.

Obviously the large companies selling wind generators don’t want you to think about this, because they will charge you thousands of dollars for a wind turbine that is not much better than you could build for less than $200.00. And any extra energy that you generate can actually be sold to your energy provider. But just don’t expect to get the same price that they would charge you for it.

Many experts are predicting that wind energy will be one of the leading sources of energy on the planet. Many people have already made the switch to this clean, renewable source of energy. And many of these people built their own residential wind turbines and are saving a significant amount of money.

The question is, when are you going to take advantage of this free energy source and start saving money too? Save the environment and save some money. Seems like a great solution to two problems. This is a nobrainer. Join the thousands of people who are saving money and saving the environment.

Wind Power Home Secrets Revealed

Have you ever wondered about the pros and cons of wind power for your home? Have you ever wondered if you could actually do it yourself?

First you need to ask yourself a few questions. Are you handy? Can you follow directions? If you answered yes, you are ready for the next step.

Are there any regulations in your area about wind power generating devices? You may want to make a few phone calls. Some areas have height restrictions.

OK, let’s ask the last question. Is your home in a good location for wind power? You will need an average wind speed of around 10 or 11 miles per hour to make this project worth your while. You will need a place to put the wind power turbine. Now this will depend on how elaborate of a system you want to install. Will you try to make enough wind power to run your whole house, or are you just trying to power say a small shop? Or maybe you want to supplement the power that you are getting now. You may need a location for a tower or maybe you will mount it on a roof top.

Still with me? Now you are ready. Go on the internet and spend months and months reading about wind power systems. And then spend months and months trying to build your own system. No just kidding. It has already been done for you. Michael Harvey of Earth4Energy has spent a lot of time putting together an easy to follow system that he tested on some regular home owners. And they were successful. The program has instructions, videos, and support, just in case you get stuck! Michael has even included ways to get the parts that you need at the best prices (or even free).

This is one of the hottest selling programs on ClickBank, the most trusted name in online sales. And if you find that you just can’t do it, or are not satisfied for any reason, you can get a no questions asked 100% refund.

The cost? Right now it is on sale for half price. I am not sure how long that will last. So the price for now is $49.97. Less than the price of a night on the town.

So $49.97 for the system. Around $200 to build and install. And you could be saving up to 80% on your energy bill! Do the math and see how long it will take you to get that money back!

I have put some videos on the site of home made wind power systems for the home. Check them out and see how excited the people are. I am not sure if they are more excited about saving money, the satisfaction of building them, or the good that they are doing for the environment! You decide. Here is the link for that page: Home Made Wind Power Videos.

Seems like a nobrainer. Join the thousands of people who are saving money and saving the environment. Here is the link: Earth4Energy.

So just what does it cost to have wind power?

Well you can spend as much as you want! There are many variables.

The very first thing that you will want to do is check your local restrictions. Many areas have height restrictions and some even have amount of property that it will be on. For instance, where I live you must have 5 acres to have a wind turbine to produce your own electricity. Of course that would be for a huge tower to power my entire house. I would be allowed to have a small wind power turbine.

So the next thing that you must ask yourself is about your skill level and how much you want to save.

I have seen do it yourselfers put up 20 foot towers and power everything. I have seen small turbines that just provide enough electricity to run a shop. And that was in a very small yard!

So if you have plenty of property and money, you could hire someone to come in and erect a wind turbine tower for you.The cost of wind power at this level would be very expensive.A few thousand dollars. I have seen systems up to $200,000.00. Of course that would be a commercial size system. At this level you will want to do a lot of math. I would recommend getting a professional involved. You would need to check the payback time. In other words how long would it take to pay for the system in savings. And do not forget to check for tax incentives and/or rebates. Most areas have incentives for renewable energy projects.

So if you are a do it yourselfer and have some time, you can probably put a system together for around $200.00 or less. Will it power your whole house? Probably not. But you could save up to 80% on your energy bill!

Michael Harvey has put together a guaranteed system to help you from start to finish. Everything you need from how to find the parts at a discount, or even for free, to how to construct it. This product is highly recommended by us!

A lot of people are confused by the name. Is it T Bone Pickens or T Boone Pickens?

Well of course his name is not as important as his plan. But just to clear up the confusion, it is T Boone Pickens! You can call him what ever you like, as long as you take the time to look at The Pickens Plan!

The Problems and The Pickens Plan

Everyone knows that America is in a tough time, in more ways than one. There are major threats to our economy, national security, and environment. And at the center of these major issues there runs a common thread: Foreign Oil. Since 1970 America’s oil imports have risen from 24% to nearly 70%. Of all of the oil in the world, America uses about 25%. Yet it only has 3% of the oil reserves and only 4% of the world’s population.

Billions of dollars are being put into foreign economies each and every month to satisfy our oil needs. This is money that could be spent right here in our own country, creating jobs, cleaner power, and a better environment for future generations.

The Pickens Plan is on track to within 10 years produce 22% of our electricity needs from wind power. That is in addition the the power we already have and will have from solar power. Build a 21st century backbone electrical grid. We must have a plan to get the power to all of the people. Conserve the amount of energy that we are using. Provide incentives to people for using energy saving measures. Replace the imported oil transportation fuel with natural gas.

The Man: T Boone (T Bone) Pickens

I have read some stupid comments about Pickens being in this for the money. Yea right. He is worth over 3 billion dollars. He has donated millions and millions to charity. And continues to do so. He is 80 years old. Just what could he do with the money? He can’t even spend the money that he has now! He is doing this for our children and future generations. It can no longer be a question of when, but rather why isn’t it done yet. Who is going to do it if it isn’t us? There is no one else. It will be too late if we leave it for the next generation!

And so what if he does make some money. Will he be the first man who came up with an idea and made a profit? If not, he is joining a very long list of evil men and women who changed the world for the better and made some money!

Other Arguments on The Pickens Plan

Just when you thought you had heard it all. The birds. Yes I am sure that birds are being killed. But I have 2 or 3 birds every year die at my house because they tried to fly into one of my windows. So I think that windows should be outlawed. People die in auto accidents everyday because they are even more stupid than birds. They are texting, talking on cell phones, reading newspapers, shaving, and eating. I think that cars should be outlawed. No. Maybe we should sue the auto manufacturers because they don’t have warnings on the dash that warn you that driving takes a lot of attention.

Ice flying off of the blades. Come on now. If that is a problem, I am sure that it can be solved. But I have seen lethal sized icicles fall from my house. I am not sure that there is a lot that can be done about that. Well maybe promote global warming so there will be no more ice?

Wind farms are ugly. Well that is certainly a matter of opinion. Personally I love them. Man is at his best and inventing again! Imagine what the first people to see a car thought.

They take up a lot of space. The nice thing about them is that you can still farm the land under them. Of course the bad thing is that the farmers have to dodge the flying ice and dead birds!

What can you do to help?

JOIN THE MOVEMENT! Do not let the politicians sit in session all day and look good in their fancy suits. Make them earn their money. Make your voice heard! Forwarding an email to all of your friends is not going to save the world. Be a part of something that is going to change the future of this country. Here is that link:

Building a home made wind power generator can be as easy or as elaborate as you
wish. Of course your skills and materials that you may have on hand or have easy
access to will help determine what your home made wind power turbine will look
like!

A lot of people use PVC pipe because it is cheap and is easily purchased at any
hardware store. This first video shows a fellow’s first attempt at a home made
wind power generator.

Here is a very simple wind power turbine that seems to have
wooden blades. Notice how it changes direction to take full advantage of the
wind.

This fellow took advantage of using what he had right at hand for his home made
wind power system. He took the wheel right off of an old wheelchair!

Now this wind power system, although still home made, is very elaborate. This is
not their first project. This illustrates that you can go as far as you want.

When the challenge comes out is when mankind shines. These people have shown
that building your own wind power system at home is possible. A lot of them have
gone on to improve the systems that they had or just started over and built new
systems. You can do this, and you can do it for under $200.For more information
on how to do it yourself and great tips on where to find the parts cheap or even

Some people have a hard time believing that they can build a home made wind power system. And they think that they have to spend thousands of dollars on a wind power system. This is far from true!

Michael Harvey has certainly shown a way to do it. Many people have done it and are saving up to 80% on their energy bills! And they spent less than $200 to do it. Michael made a complete easy to follow, fully illustrated guide to making your own power. He covers both solar power and wind power. His system also comes with videos. If you are the least bit handy, you can follow this system.

He is so passionate about saving the environment and saving money for you that he developed this system so that even the inexperienced novice can generate their own power with the wind and or the sun!

After developing the system, he found 11 people who knew nothing about generating wind power or solar power and put the system to the test. All of the test people were able to generate enough power to run their appliances.

He wanted to make it so that everyone could do it without spending a lot of money. So he included resources to help you find the materials at a much lower cost, or even for free! He shows a resource to get batteries to store your energy for free.

Michael sells his guide through ClickBank. They are the number one seller of digital products. His product is on the best seller list. And of course it come with an 8 week money back guarantee. So there is absolutely no risk on your part. Right now he is selling the whole system for $49.97. A small price to pay to save 80% on your energy bill!

If you would like more information on building your own home made wind power and solar power system, read our complete review at: Michael Harvey’s Earth4Energy.

You could be the one with the home made wind power system in your yard and be the talk of your neighborhood! And the one saving all of the money!

So just what are the advantages of wind power?

There are many, and I will try to hit on as many as possible. I am sure that you will be able to think of even more. I would certainly like to say that personally I think that wind farms are beautiful. There are some people that would disagree, but I love to watch them turn. I like the feeling that I get thinking about how much they are helping us!

Wind power is renewable.

It is here to stay. It just blows and blows. Whether or not we use it, it will still blow. And it is readily available all over the world. And it is in ample supply to cover the demand and then some. Actually if all the energy of the wind was used, it would be around 10 times as much as we need.

Cost.

The cost to harness the power of the wind has come down drastically. More and more people are working on it. Some bright entrepreneurs are making energy for themselves and making money from selling their ideas on home made systems.

Reduces global warming.

Wind energy is about as clean as it gets. There are no pollutants. There are zero harmful byproducts of producing energy from the wind.

Supports the local economy.

If you build a wind farm, the local area produces power for themselves and others. There are no imports to help another country. As the price of oil fluctuates, the wind is always free. There is no effect on the price because of rising costs of oil. And you have local people working on the process. The money stays local.

Perfect for remote locations.

Say you had a cabin in a remote area, where power lines may not even be run. You could put up a wind mill and make your own power.

Less likely to suffer from a power outage.

If you were using the wind power supplemented by your power company as a backup, you will probably never be without power.

So the advantages of wind power are many. We are moving in the right direction as far as using it, but I feel that we need to pick up the pace a little. The earth is being slowly destroyed and we need to get busy preserving it. We need to make sure that there is something to pass on to future generations.

Do you want to learn how you can build your own wind mill? Visit Earth4Energy to discover just how inexpensive it can be. You could be reducing your energy bill by up to 80%, putting money in your pocket, and helping to save the planet all at the same time!

Before we talk about how wind power works, let’s talk about what it is. It is one of the cleanest ways to generate electricity. It is renewable and very “earth friendly”. It is a very good substitute for the fossil fuels that we use now, which are bad for our health and the health of our environment. We must take care of the planet so that we will ahve something to pass along to the future generations. I don’t think that we want to be known as the generation that ruined the planet!

In a way wind power is actually a form of solar energy. Winds are actually caused by the uneven warming of the atmosphere by the sun. Also the uneven surface of the earth and the earth’s actual rotation. Then these same winds are modified by terrain, water and even vegetation. We have used these winds for fun and work. We fly kites, sail boats, and make electricity. Of course making electricity is becoming even more popular everyday.

Wind energy or wind power describes the process of turning the wind into energy through the use of wind mills, wind turbines and wind generators. They turn the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical power. This power can then be used to grind grain, pump water or make electricity with a generator.

So in simple terms the wind turns the blades. the blades are connected to a shaft, which is turned by the force of the wind turning the blades. Then this mechanical force can be used as is for something like pumping water or to turn a generator which produces electricity. This electricity can be sent to your home to power things or stored for future use.

So this answers the question of “how wind power works”, but a more important question would be, why aren’t we taking advantage of it?

Would you like to find out how you can take advantage of it? You may be surprised at how low the cost could be to build your own system. Visit Earth4Energy for more information.

This is certainly a time where the increasing demand for energy is catching up with the supply. It is still hard to believe that we have waited so long to actually do something about it. While the world is playing catch up, and you are trying to save on your personal energy bill, is there anything else that can be done? Well yes.

There are solar and wind options available that are pollution free and certainly renewable at zero cost? You could be seeing drastic reductions in your energy bill. You may also have an edge on the inevitable power outage!

For right now we are going to review the wind power option that can be used at home.

There are certain conditions that make wind power solutions work better. Here are a few:

• You have a house spread over a large area. Typically, wind power solutions are employed in areas that spread over an acre. Also some local laws may prevent you from having wind power devices unless you meet space requirements.

• Your average wind speed should be no less than 11 miles per hour. If you do not have enough wind, your system will not work.

• You need to draw water from external sources. If you need to draw water from outside on a regular basis, a wind power system is most certainly the best solution.

• You need an uninterrupted power supply. Saving the grief of those power outages is easy with the pollution-free wind power systems.

Most wind power systems have 4 or 5 blades to harness the power of the wind. The height will vary according to your location and conditions. You may need a taller tower if you don’t have as much wind. This power can be used just as you use the energy from the power company. It can be stored or even sold back to your power company if you have excess. Just don’t expect to get the same price that they charge you!

Sometimes people get confuse over the “wind power” jargon. Just for your information the terms wind mills, wind turbines, and wind generators are all the same.

So can you survive by wind power alone? Well if you have a state of the art system and live in the right location, it is possible. But mostly people can drastically reduce the amount of energy that they are purchasing from the power company. And you may be surprised at how low the cost could be to build your own system. Visit Earth4Energy for more information.
