Home Made Wind Power Videos
Building a home made wind power generator can be as easy or as elaborate as you
wish. Of course your skills and materials that you may have on hand or have easy
access to will help determine what your home made wind power turbine will look
like!
A lot of people use PVC pipe because it is cheap and is easily purchased at any
hardware store. This first video shows a fellow’s first attempt at a home made
wind power generator.
Here is a very simple wind power turbine that seems to have
wooden blades. Notice how it changes direction to take full advantage of the
wind.
This fellow took advantage of using what he had right at hand for his home made
wind power system. He took the wheel right off of an old wheelchair!
Now this wind power system, although still home made, is very elaborate. This is
not their first project. This illustrates that you can go as far as you want.
When the challenge comes out is when mankind shines. These people have shown
that building your own wind power system at home is possible. A lot of them have
gone on to improve the systems that they had or just started over and built new
